Why a certificate rather than a booked session

The problem with gifting a massage is that you have to guess a date. You do not know what the person's week looks like in three weeks' time, and a booked appointment they have to rearrange is a small chore dressed up as a present.

A gift certificate removes that. You pay for the session now, they receive a code, and they pick the time themselves when they actually want it. Everything below is a real certificate issued by our booking system — the code arrives by email within a minute of payment.

How it works, start to finish

1 · You buy

Choose a denomination above and pay by card. Nothing is scheduled and no date is held — you are buying a value, not an appointment slot.

2 · The code arrives

The certificate is emailed to you within about a minute, with a redemption code on it. Forward it, or print it if you want something to hand over in person.

3 · They book

The recipient picks a session and enters the code at checkout. If the certificate covers the price, nothing is charged to their card. If they upgrade to something longer, they pay only the difference.

The terms, in plain words

One year to use it

Valid for one year from the date of purchase. That is the certificate's own term, printed on it — so if the person you are buying for has a chaotic year ahead, buy it nearer the time they will actually take it.

Not valid with Antoni

Not redeemable against sessions with Antoni Luke-Akagi. If they specifically want to work with him, buy one of his sessions outright instead — see Antoni's page, where each session can be paid for upfront and scheduled later.

Transferable, not refundable

Whoever holds the code can redeem it, so it can be passed on. It cannot be exchanged for cash, and it is not refundable once issued — see our returns policy.

Sessions only

A certificate can be used against any massage, bodywork or Gua Sha session, including the four hands session with the balance paid on the day. It cannot be used for treatment room rental.

Not sure which one to buy

If you are buying for someone who has never had bodywork here, the 60-minute certificate is the right call. It is a full session rather than a taster, and it does not carry the faint pressure of an expensive gift.

If they carry tension somewhere specific — a neck that never settles, a lower back from a desk — the 90-minute certificate is the better value of the four. The extra half hour is the difference between covering the whole body and actually resolving one area.

If this is marking something — a birthday, an anniversary, the end of a hard year — buy the two-hour certificate. It reads as an occasion rather than a treat.

If you want something smaller, the Gua Sha certificate is a genuine treatment at a modest price, and it is a gentle introduction for someone who is not sure how they feel about a full massage.

How do I buy a massage gift certificate?

Pick a denomination on this page and follow the purchase link. Checkout takes a minute, you pay by card, and the certificate is issued immediately by email with a code on it. There is no appointment to choose and no date to pick — that is the whole point of a certificate.

How is the certificate delivered?

By email, straight after payment, with a redemption code. You can forward that email to the recipient, or print it if you want something physical to hand over. If you would rather we sent it directly to them on a particular day, email us after ordering and we will arrange it.

Do your gift certificates expire?

Valid for one year from the date of purchase. We do not hide that in small print — if you are buying for someone with an unpredictable year ahead, buy it closer to when they will use it.

Can the certificate be used for a session with Antoni?

Not redeemable against sessions with Antoni Luke-Akagi. Antoni's sessions are priced separately, so if the person you are buying for specifically wants to work with him, buy one of his sessions directly instead — the purchase links on his own page pay for a session upfront and let the recipient schedule it later, which achieves the same thing.

How does the recipient redeem it?

They book a session in the normal way and enter the certificate code at checkout. Nothing is charged to their card if the certificate covers the session price. If they choose a longer session than the certificate covers, they pay the difference.

Can they use it towards a different service?

Yes. A certificate carries a value, so it can be put towards any session we offer — a longer massage, a Gua Sha treatment, or a four hands session — with the balance paid at the time. It cannot be redeemed for cash and it cannot be used for treatment room rental.

Is it transferable?

Yes. Whoever holds the code can use it, so if the person you gave it to would rather pass it on, that is fine. It is non-refundable once purchased.

What if I want a specific amount instead of a set session?

The four denominations on this page are what the booking system issues automatically. If you want a different amount — to split a session between two people, or to top up towards a longer treatment — email massage@enhancewell.com and we will arrange it manually.

I bought one and never received the email.

Check the spam folder first — automated receipts land there more often than anything else. If it is genuinely missing, email massage@enhancewell.com with the name and email address you used and we will reissue it.
